It's officially fall! The leaves are changing colors and change is in the air! Here at The Baby Kottage, we're doing some changes of our own too!  NEWS
TBK is always looking for new Forum Reps/Assistant Reps. Remember you must be a member of TBK for at least 45 days and have a post count of at least 150 to apply. TBK is seeking a Historian! Your job will be taking over the Dark Room (our photo album on the site). You must be able to verify members that apply to the album, and help members with their questions about our photo album and how it works. Writers WANTED! If you love to write articles then WE WANT YOU!
The Baby Kottage Featured Writers Guidelines:
Articles should be between 250 and 1500 words. Articles should relate in some way, but not limited to parenthood, organizational tips, home management, going green, saving money or holidays. These articles will be considered for The Baby Kottage website. Please limit business articles (ie, a Discovery Toys Consultant, may write an article on "Hot Toys for the Holidays" but refrain from submitting ONLY business type articles).
The Baby Kottage is also looking for articles about events and activities within your immediate vicinity, to be included in our Resources page.
In return, we will provide in a 75 word by-line, which may include a link to your personal site.

- The Aunt in the Attic- Got a question about ANYTHING? Ask the Aunt in the Attic your Baby Kottage helpful advisor. Questions may be asked ‘anonymously’ so your identity is protect and the innocent are not maimed. Be it from gardening, to parenting, to relationships to those tricky sex questions…the Aunt in the Attic can give you some comforting tips and some maternal wisdom.
- Book Swap- Tired of reading the same old books? Don't want to spend money on buying brand new books? Join the book swap and get some "new" books to read without paying high bookstore prices. *Members are responsible for postage (media postage rate applies).Be on the look out for the officiall announcement!
- Holiday Bake Off! is set to being this week! Check out the new section and boards and post your favorite holiday recipe to share with members! Try something new and leave a review! TBK may feature your recipe and reviews on the main site!
- Are you a working parent? What to learn how to brand yourself? In October and November, working parents are invited to join Rosi on the WAH board and discuss ways to brand yourself! The book we're using is Make a Name for Yourself by Robin Fisher Roffer. An introductory post will be up this week to get you started! We will begin our discussion mid-October.

 A Big Thank You! All of us over in the Pantry have decided to help share with our military. There is a wonderful organization that takes expired coupons and distributes them amongst the families who are stationed overseas. All it takes is for us to take some time to cut these expired coupons out and send them off.
So help us send those expired off for a good cause. The group that sends the most dollar wise is recognized on their website.
