Participation in Forums
Keep our site PG-13. This means, creating an appropriate screen name, and keeping your language clean. The content of your posts should be fit for a PG-13 audience. To ensure this standard, posts of an offensive nature (including inappropriate language, racial slurs, or hate language) will be heavily moderated. This also includes signature files and URLs. Do not publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, inflammatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.
By participating on our forums you acknowledge that your membership is public and may be viewed by anyone. Do not divulge private and personal information, such as your home address and phone numbers. Keep in mind that allowing your email to be public gives the implied consent to be contacted.
By participating in our forums, you agree to be held accountable for all messages and information posted by your user name. Do not allow anyone to use your user name. Invite them to create their own account. Do not create a new user name to impersonate any member, Forum Rep, Assistant Managers, Forum Manager, or other hired employee of this site. Doing so will result in the terminate of your membership(s). Do not divulge private and personal information about another person that has not already been made public by that person. Do not post private and personal messages, photographs and other forms of correspondences from family, friends, or otherwise, known acquaintances. Posting such information constitutes a copyright infraction and may result in legal action taken against you.
Posting the same message multiple times (i.e. flooding) on the same forum or unrelated forum is prohibited. Trying to keep your message at the top of the forum (i.e. bumping) is also prohibited.
Our members are from diverse backgrounds and situations. It is inevitable that some members will not get along with each other. However, each member here deserves respect. Disrespectful behavior toward any member, Forum Rep, Assistant Managers, Forum Manager, or other hired employee of our site, will result in a warning. Continued behavior may result in the suspension or termination of your membership. Disagreements are allowed, as long as it is done in a respectable manner. If you feel you are being personally attacked in any way, please notify the Forum Rep immediately by emailing them at their respective address.
The Baby Kottage © forums and profiles allow members to share photographs. Photographs that contain adult content, nudity, and graphic images are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, the genitals of infants and children. Any photograph that is in question will be immediately removed without warning or notice.
Members of our forum are free to exchange gifts, cards, plan meet-ups, and direct members to charitable fundraisers. Any exchange of gifts or cards is to be set up through the Forum Reps. By signing up you agree to follow the rules laid out for the exchange, by the Forum Reps. Violation of the rules of said exchange may result in the suspension of your membership. Continued violation of current and future exchanges will result in the immediate termination of your membership. Planned meet-ups may be organized on the forum by any member. However, keep the location, time, and other vital details off the forums. Members are not allowed to act as a third party to collect goods or monies on the behalf of charities and organizations. However, members may solicit monies for charitable organizations if the charity receives the donation directly. Members are not allowed to collect goods or monies for themselves or other members on the forum. We understand tragedies happen, but in order to ensure that members of this site are not scammed, we reserve the right to disallow any members to collect on their behalf. The Baby Kottage © is not responsible for any monetary or property losses as a result of participating in online exchanges.
Marketing Surveys, Research, and Interviews are not allowed. Any Market Survey, Research or Interview posted will be removed without warning or notice. Continued posting of such material without permission on the forums will result in the immediate termination of your membership.

The Boiler Room (Current Events and Debate Board)
This board was created to discuss topics that might result in friendly debate. Topics include, but are not limited to, abortion, right to life, censorship, death penalty, gay rights, religious freedoms, and other similar topics. In this forum, it is acceptable to challenge one’s beliefs, or ideas of other members, as long as the debate stays on topic and does not result in verbal abuse of any one member or group.
Spam, Advertisements and Unsolicited Messages
Contacting a member via email or private message to sell or promote your business is not allowed unless they have specifically asked for the information.
You may not advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose on any forum, except on the Vendor Fair Boards. This includes eBay ©, Craig’s list © or other forms of selling goods in your name.
All business transactions must remain off the boards or on the Vendor Fair Boards.
Solicitations of any prescription drug on forums, chat or signature is illegal and prohibited. Posts and signatures of this nature will be removed without warning or notice. Additionally, you may be suspended or banned from the site.
Trolls
An Internet troll, or simply troll in internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion. If you encounter, or suspect a troll is on the forum, please alert a Forum Rep, Assistant Manager, Forum Manager or owner of this site. Do not engage in conversation with trolls. Any member deemed to be a troll will be banned from the site without warning or notice. Messages posted by trolls will be removed immediately from the forum.
Signatures
Signatures are limited to 500 characters. Use of tickers, blinkies and animated signatures are allowed. Two websites only. Use the space provided.
Text-only advertisements are allowed in your signature, (to display your banner, please contact advertising@thebabykottage.com) and are limited to 2 line and 150 characters (spaces included). This includes the web address.

Members who place graphic advertisements in their signatures may have their signature privileges suspended indefinitely.
Suspensions and Bans
The Baby Kottage © has three (3) strike rule. Three (3) membership infractions (be it minor or major) will result in a fourteen (14) day suspension from the site. Members are prohibited from posting messages on the forum for the duration of the suspension. If a member posts during their suspension, they are banned from the site. Members with two (2) suspensions and 1 infraction (7 total infractions) will be banned from the site.
The Baby Kottage © reserves the right to suspend or terminate any member, for any reason, without warning or notice.
The owners of this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.
