Kottage Cleaning Challenge- Sort through clothes!

Spring is here and it's time to pack away those unnecessary winter clothes and bring out the spring and summer clothes!

Start by washing all the clothes and putting them in a large pile. Sort through them so that you have a pile for "Keep", "Donate", and "Maybes". These piles will help you eliminate clothing that your children cannot fit anymore while giving you the ability to save the ones that younger kids can wear or just keeping the clothes that have a sentimental value to them.

Once you sort through the old clothes, pull down the clothes from storage to sift through to pull out for spring and summer.
Follow the same process, wash then sort.

Once you have these piles done, place the new clothes in your children's room and take inventory of any items that they may need more of. Head over to your local donation center (like Goodwill) and hand over your unwanted clothes, then shop for new items! Many items at Goodwill are like new and since children outgrow them fast you'll be saving money in the long run as well.
